The jeep safari is conducted on the Lakhmana Sand Dunes 7 kms from the property. We provice private jeep per group/family or booking from the reception of the resort.

The safari is usually a 30-40 mins door-to-door.

Each Jeep Seats a maximum of 6 persons including one in the co-driver seat.

Since, Suryaansh Desert Resort is opposite the highest sand-dunes of Jaisalmer, the camel ride starts at the main gate of the property and takes you into the dunes of the desert national park.

Ideally, the camel back ride is around 15 mins but we encourage our guests to spend time on the dunes and take memorable pictures of the sunsets and sunrises.

Each camel can accommodate 2 persons. We also provide camel carts for our customers that are not comfortable on camel back. Each camel cart can seat upto 4 persons.

Yes, we do provide heaters in the winters, but we first prefer that guests opt for extra blankets as heaters are a fire-risk in desert camps.

Therefore, for your safety and safety of others, we provide heaters on request.

Rest assured, there are always enough to cater to all our guests.

Yes, this is true, however, we are a 100% generator backed resort and we try and maintain a constant supply in the resort

We have independent geysers in each room that can be turned on and off as per the guests’ convenience

The kitchen has separate utensils and separate area for non-vegetarian food. Typically, non-vegetarian food is not served on the buffet, but on request at the table of the guests’ who prefer it.

Yes, we do serve Jain food and are always happy to customize any meals for you. We also serve guests’ observing Chauvihar but on prior request.

Our child policy is as follows:-

• Ages 0 yrs to 5 yrs: Complimentary on sharing bed with parent
• Ages 5+ yrs to 12 yrs: Child with CNB charges on sharing bed with parent
• 12+ yrs: Adult with extra bed charges

These policies are a guideline can change without notice

We do charge extra bed charges for any child taking an extra bed in the room irrespective of age.

We provide, roll-away beds or extra beds for any extra person in the room for an additional charge or as per the reservation.
